My love of art began in 1975 in Spain when I started going to an art center after school. There, I enjoyed ceramics, batik, and leatherwork. In college, I majored in Fine Arts and explored metalsmithing, 2D drawing, sculpture, stained glass, and glass blowing. I LOVED IT ALL!
After raising and homeschooling my four amazing children, I am now able to put my passion for art at the forefront of my daily schedule. In 2023, I was living in Homer, Alaska for a few months and had the opportunity to take an enamel jewelry class with Ashley Lohr from Petersburg, AK. What a fun and inspirational class that was for me and where I was at the time in my life. With nothing holding me back, I dove right in to creating enameled jewelry.
Over the years, I have created commissioned pet portraits in watercolor, designed abstract paintings, sculptures, copper and enameled jewelry, and taught art to adults and children.
My paintings have been displayed at The Barn in State College, PA, Cedar House Spa in Santee, SC, and my jewelry at Candlefish Maker’s Market in Charleston, SC.
